"Content index on AnchorProject could not be initialized" on MOSS server

On my server I'm currently running MOSS, WSS, 2.0 and 3.0 as well as SQL 2005. Currently I'm getting the following error messages;

Content index on AnchorProject could not be initialized. Error The system cannot find the file specified. 0x80070002.Component: 879cfeb7-fff6-4d24-aff0-9de09f611a8d

and

Content index on Portal_Content could not be initialized. Error The system cannot find the file specified. 0x80070002.Component: 879cfeb7-fff6-4d24-aff0-9de09f611a8d

Can anyone shed some light on these? I did a google but I only found information 'access denied' for the event code being used, as I'm not getting access denied, I'm getting the above errors.

Any help or information is greatly appreciated.

As far as I know you can't.

You can run WSS 2.0 and WSS 3.0 on the same server (for a while) if you are doing the gradual upgrade from WSS 2.0.

You can't run WSS 3.0 and MOSS 2007 on the same server though - there would in any case be no point in doing that because MOSS 2007 contains everything that WSS 3.0 does and adds more.

So what have you actually installed ? and if you really have MOSS and WSS 2.0 and WSS 3.0, how did you install them all ?

I didn't do any of the WSS installation, however I did install SQL 05. I was just given the task to fix the server and the WSS errors and get the search working again.

According to the person that installed everything and from what I can see under Admin Tools, WSS 2.0 is installed, WSS 3.0 is installed. How can I verify that MOSS 07 is definitly installed?

My future plan for this server is to only have MOSS 07 on it.
